Funky Thistle came about from a love of working with textiles. Each piece is individually crafted starting with a wide range of small fabric swatches. We love the challenge of bringing different colours and patterns together to create something new. Designing this way ensures that every bag is special and will not be replicated. Who doesn't like to wear a well made piece that is unique to them.
All the bags are made using upholstery fabrics. These durable textiles are great for making bags that are lightweight but also strong and long lasting even with daily use.
